"Cared for at a recent procedure"

About: Whiteabbey Hospital / Endoscopy Services

(as a service user),

My flexible sigmoidoscopy procedure was cancelled at my local hospital due to illness. I was told I could travel to Whiteabbey hospital or reschedule. I chose to travel - glad I did.

The hospital was clean and the area from the prep room to the procedure room was light, bright, and modern.
Never a procedure you look forward to but the staff I had caring for me made the whole experience much nicer.
Leigh was great, he helped me make sense of what was going on and explained terms I received in a letter I didn’t understand.
Jenny was lovely and friendly. She helped distract me during the procedure.
Ashleigh was very kind. She finished off my care and ensured I understood aftercare and the result of my procedure.
I had three other members of staff looking after me who were excellent too (I’m unable to remember their names, sorry)
The lady at reception was very friendly and made me feel so comfortable from the start.
I’m glad she was there when I came in.
Very good experience here.
Thank you to the team of people for your care, this girl appreciated it greatly.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such positive feedback on your experience off Whiteabbey Endoscopy.

Every member of staff works hard to ensure patients receive the best possible care whilst in the department. They also try to reassure patients prior to procedures by giving them the information and answers they require to set them at ease.

I will be sure to pass on your lovely comments to staff at the daily briefing.

Thanks again

Pamela

It was the least I could do. Your staff did ensure this was the case.

Thanks so much again.
