"Highest level of communication given"

I was admitted to 1 South in Craigavon Area Hospital for tests. I am a paraplegic who has cerebral palsy. I was very nervous and anxious when I was admitted but the staff put me at easy. They accommodated my needs so brilliantly and went above and beyond in their care.

All staff were great but I would like to give special thanks to the nurse Chelsea and AHP Ann-Marie who went out of their way to make sure I had all my needs met. My Doctor Su Su was very compassionate and even though I am non verbal really listened to my support worker and family when they were communicating my desire and treatment. This meant so much to me as it is my choice how I would like to be treated. I had to get an endoscopy and the theatre staff were brilliant. I needed to have my support worker communicate and they went out of their way to accommodate her being there for me. 

From when  I was admitted till I was discharged the quality of service was second to none, the professionalism of all the staff was of the highest degree as well as the level of care and compassion they showed to me and my family.
