About: General Practices in Grampian

(as the patient),

I sustained a knee injury while overseas. I was seen immediately during the late afternoon on the day I arrived back.

Dr Maria thoroughly examined me and called the orthopaedic surgeon on call to make a plan for me to be seen.

I was very appreciative of him going the extra mile to make sure I got in the system fast despite it being a weekend!

Thank you for your feedback Joanna82. I'll make sure it is passed to the team at Ellon Medical Practice. I'm sure the practice, and Dr Maria, will be delighted you got touch with your appreciation for going the extra mile to find the right care.

I work with the Quality Improvement & Assurance Team in NHS Grampian and part of my role is to make sure the feedback that comes in for the general practices, through Care Opinion, reaches them. Most in Grampian are independently run and have their own complaints and feedback systems - they aren’t registered to receive Care Opinion feedback. However, as I have the practice name I'll forward this on to them today and if they get back to me with a response I will share with you on this thread.
