"Hand problems following shoulder injury"

About: Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy - Outpatient Hand Service

(as the patient),

I dislocated and fractured my shoulder and damaged nerves, leaving my hand painful, weak and lacking in function such as dexterity. Despite medication, my hand was sometimes ‘on fire’ or sometimes numb, feeling like it wasn’t my hand. Some everyday activities were difficult.
