"Hernia repair"

I was quite nervous at the thought of having a hernia repair with a local anaesthetic but found all the staff to be kind and was looked after well. The operation was nothing how I expected as soon as I felt any twinges of pain I was given more anaesthetic. The nurses were nice chatting to me and even let me choose what music we listened to during the procedure. I’ve been home 48 hours and felt no need to take painkillers, I’m just a little sore and bruised as to be expected. I’m very grateful to all the staff .Thankyou
