"Hubbies fall"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a service user),

Hubby had a nasty fall

Ambulance came and went to A&E

The ambulance people were really good. They were kind but firm with him and did their little lecture to him really well so hope he takes it on board

Got to the RDE and although we had a long corridor wait the staff did everything they could to make it OK. James [ Exeter ambulance service] made sure we had drinks etc and all staff seemed to be very aware of Parkinson's needs

All staff were really Great and must have been exhausted with all that was going on

Stitched up and sent home

I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s fall, but it’s great to hear the ambulance crew and the hospital staff were so supportive and attentive.

I hope he’s feeling better now and wishing you both some rest after such a stressful experience!

Thank you for the feedback!
