About: Medway Maritime Hospital / General surgery Medway Maritime Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I recently got some toast stuck in my throat. My sis called for an ambulance and was told it was going to be about 2 hrs, so my sis and brother-in-law took me up there.

I collapsed in A&E, I was rushed through as I could not breathe, next thing I know I was under for almost a week and was on oxygen as they could see that my neck was swallow.

I was in Trafalgar ward, where I saw some nice people like Amanda, a nice young nurse, the trouble she had to put up with with other patients like throwing food and swearing at her, even tried to hit her.

With what they put up with, I think they all should get a pay rise. When I can I am going to take a large box of doughnuts.
