About: General Surgery / Surgical Unit

(as the patient),

I had my gallbladder op done at Stracathro Hospital in January 2025. 

I travelled from Aberdeen and everything went very well and was in and out in the same day, home by 7 pm that evening.

All the staff were very kind and reassuring. 

Excellent organisation.

My only suggestion would be, if possible could a map of the hospital be included as we arrived in early morning, just after 7 am and it was difficult to see which area we were looking for. A map would have helped, although we did find it . This a minor observation, and I would not hesitate to recommend taking up the offer of surgery here. 

I was so glad to get my surgery done and would like to say a big thank to all the teams involved.
