"Each and every one of them treated me with respect"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was reassured right from walking through the door. Every member of staff (receptionists, nurses, doctors, my anaesthetist my consultant/surgeon) were great. I wish I could name them all, but memory fails me! I do remember a nurse, José, who looked after me in recovery and was with me until I left the department. But it's fair to say that everyone was good humoured, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Each and every one of them treated me with respect (and I hope I gave them the same in return).

I left the hospital with the medications and instructions I needed, a number to call if I had concerns and the date for a follow-up appointment. Thoroughly impressed.
