"I felt like I was in the best hands"

I recently had 2 camera tests done in the endoscopy clinic in Daisy Hill Hospital and I was massively impressed by the outstanding care I received.

I was extremely nervous to get the procedures done and nurses Shannon, Jodi, student nurse Anna and Lynsey (to name a few) were all fantastic with me and really put me at ease and were available to answer any post-procedure questions and provide me with further information tailored to my results.

Consultant Dr Kumar, Louise, Gerard, Shirley and Shannon put me at ease throughout the procedures and went above and above to make me feel comfortable and reassured and safe.

I felt each person on the team were extremely diligent, professional and reassuring and caring, and I felt like I was in the best hands. I even had a few laughs throughout the appointment which was exactly what I needed given I was so worried.

I can't thank all the lovely staff enough. Even the cleaning lady who asked if I wanted the TV turned down or light turned off in the female waiting room because I was tired, all of those small attentive things add to the patient experience massively - thank you!
