"I was listened to and acknowledged without judgement"

About: Borders General Practices

(as a service user),

It's only been the second time I've required to see a GP at Waverley Medical Practice. In the current climate I am astounded by how caring all staff are. I felt very valued, understood and not judged any time I interacted with admin staff.

The GP gave me time, I did not feel rushed and respected all my requests which were granted. I have been used to being judged and spoken to in an uncaring manner previously. It's not the actions or outcomes of the appointment, but the fact I was listened to and acknowledged without judgement.

No wonder your practice and staff have won awards. Absolutely amazing, I have to say and you deserve more awards.

Thank you so much to Mary and the other admin staff working, but particular to Dr. Mahesh and Dr. Montgomerie. I feel very lucky and I am very grateful.

Dear Grateful Grandson

Firstly my apologies for the delay in responding to you.

Thank you for sharing such positive feedback about your experiences with Waverley Medical Practice.

It is so lovely to hear such nice comments about multiple members of the practice team, I will ensure your feedback is shared with Dr Mahesh, Dr Montgomerie and Mary directly.

Best wishes

Karen

No problem Karen,

I wasn't sure if it would be linked in as I couldn't find the practice under search.

Credit where credit is due. It's like night and day compared to my last practice. You have an astounding and forward thinking team.

I literally couldn't fault anything.
