"GP Appointment for future date"

Trying to book a non-urgent GP appointment at Orient Road Medical Surgery, Salford just like we used to be able to do for a non urgent medical issue (just a face to face update/checkup on double hernia treatment and how long until surgery etc) only to be told that i can only go online between 0800 and 1200 hours each day to fill in a triage form. 

Utterly ridiculous when I know it's not urgent so why put my case through a triage for urgent cases? Why on earth is there not 1 day set aside for any doctor to meet with people like myself to discuss these non urgent matters that still need dealt with? Where is the common sense being applied to this procedure as it very much appears to be zero application of it here! If it's too much for the GP's then get simple centres set up whereby doctors looking to retire or wind down there caseloads can sit and discuss cases like mine and many others, i'm sure it could take the pressure of the main GP's that way.
