"Swift treatment in Minor Injuries unit!"

I slipped and hurt my ankle on my property on Tuesday 7th Feb, and went down to Otley Minor Injuries unit. I was seen within the hour, assessed, X-rayed and then treated. I had broken my ankle in a minor way and was fitted with a boot immediately and discharged with an appointment to Fracture clinic at LGI. All with a cheery smile and lovely chat from all the people involved who put my mind at rest during a stressful and painful time! I do love Wharfedale hospital, you always get lovely service in Minor injuries (yes, I’m clumsy!) and never have to wait that long. A big big thankyou to all staff involved for cheering me up, and the skeleton in the corner of the treatment room that had a name but this review won’t allow me to name him !! Anyway he was most useful in demonstrating where my injury was!!!!
