"Freezing conditions"

About: West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital (Yorkhill) / Lymphoedema Service

(as a carer),

I was with my sister for her Lymphoedema appointment. The building is very cold, and I feel the temperature of the room was unacceptable for anyone to work or be treated in.

To expect anyone to remove clothing in a room with a very low temperature is totally unsatisfactory, in my view. I have no idea how the medical staff are managing in these insufferable conditions.

The medical staff are excellent and I was extremely concerned for their wellbeing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on care opinion. I am very sorry that the Lymphoedema Clinic was so cold for you and your sister at her recent appointment. Please be assured that the team are trying hard to improve this. Thank you for your kind words and concern for the staff.
Kind Regards
Margaret
