Went to Day surgery to have Posterior repair for prolapse
From check in to discharge later in the evening the care I received was faultless.
The ward was spotless, the staff friendly, professional and engaging- putting me at my ease.
I was impressed by the smooth processes I saw and experienced throughout my stay.
The respect shown to patients and between colleagues was exemplary, the ward atmosphere calm and nurturing.
My admission was carried out by a student nurse who was encouraged and supported by a wonderful senior HCA.
My obs and support at discharge was carried out by another student nurse whose reassuring and calm manner was really appreciated- she will be a brilliant nurse - lucky the trust that employs her in future.
It was wonderful to meet both the surgeon and anaesthetist before the operation. They clearly explained the procedures, and answered my questions. Having suffered from sickness from previous operations , I had no nausea or sickness this time. Thank you Tom for your magic.
Throughout my time in recovery I was so well looked after and enjoyed the best ham sandwich ever. Thank you to all the staff at Wynard , I have no idea how you could improve further. You are amazing.
