About: Older People’s Services / Hospital at Home Southern Sector

(as the patient),

I recently received Hospital at Home service for a week from the Southwest Acute Hospital and Health Centre. The service was great, all the doctors and nurses that visited me helped and made me feel reassured in my own home. I can't thank them enough and I think it is an excellent way of doing treatments.

I am a band6 Nurse within the Hospital at Home team Fermanagh. I provide nursing care to patients in their own home or nursing home environment. Providing treatments for many medical conditions such as Respiratory conditions Congestive heart failure or palliative care. Providing treatments such as Intravenous antibiotics or fluids. Iv Diuretics oxygen therapy. My job is very rewarding.
