I had an appointment one day last week at the practice. I told the receptionist my name and date of birth and she gave me directions to the room I was to go to. While there I asked her if my blood test results had come back, she had them there in front of her on screen but wasn't able to tell me the results, she suggested that when I got home I ring the surgery and press the number for the results line. I did this and was on hold for 20 minutes before being transferred to another line where I was on hold for a further 45 minutes before the call rang off itself. I tried several time each time still being unable to get through.
Why could the results not have been given to me when i was at the practice stood in front of a staff member who could access them and given me the information? Waste of time!
