"Power Up Course for Parkinson’s Disease"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Parkinson's Service

(as a volunteer/advocate),

The Power Up sessions are brilliant and a model of excellent educational supportive care to improve the long term health of people with Parkinson’s and to offer support to Carers /partners.  I know that I feel confident and positive in managing my Parkinson’s symptoms by taking part in Power Up.

I cannot believe they are only being run in North Devon! The course doesn’t even run in South Devon!

Helen works alongside Suzanne and her support has been invaluable! It would be a great loss to the Power Up team if Helen wasn’t a part of this unique programme.

Helen's experience, knowledge and skills in adapting exercise’s specifically to people with Parkinson’s  has so beneficial and  supportive . Her input in the Power Up sessions made a real difference,  resulting in myself and so many motivated to continue Pilates….thank you, Helen.
