During an unexpected stay in the orthopaedic ward (212) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, I had the pleasure of meeting an occupational therapist named Jack. The care and compassion from Jack helped me beyond belief during a very dark time. He listened to me, showed empathy and provided solutions for my concerns. Upon discharge, a referral by Jack meant I was provided with equipment to make things easier at home and this was done the next working day. Jack is a credit to the NHS and I am beyond grateful that he was part of my care.
"Amazing care and compassion"
