"Kept in the loop daily with what was happening"

About: District Nursing / Dundee Enhanced Care at Home Team (DECAHT)

(as a carer),

My parents were very happy with the support offered by the team. All members were polite and courteous and did their best to help. Dr. Din listened to the problems and arranged appropriate investigations leading to diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Din visited them personally to assess mum and to explain the test results and treatment plan. She had good communication with myself to keep me in the loop with what was happening with my mum.

It was a great relief to have the team involved after several weeks of trying to get GPs to take my mum's symptoms seriously when she did in fact have metastatic bone cancer.

Daughter 59,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your family's experience with the Enhanced Care at Home Team. I will pass on your kind words to Dr Din and the rest of the team who will be delighted to receive it.

I am sorry to hear about your Mum's diagnosis, but am pleased that we were able to help.

With sincere best wishes

Allison
