"Provided with good advice"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Gastroenterology (stomach and gut problems)

(as a service user),

Was having gasto problems, tummy wasn't emptying and was in a lot of pain and discomfort  had a phone consultation with Dr Graham, he advised I stop taking co-codamol for my pain which I did straight away, I used paracetamol instead and ibuprofen sometimes together for more intense pain as I also have problems with my pancreas.

Honestly I am so much better off co-codamol my tummy is not swollen, no episodes of not emptying, im in way more less pain than I have ever been and feeling great.

Dear tangotj88

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re so pleased to hear that you’re feeling much better after following the advice from Dr Graham. It’s fantastic that stopping the co-codamol has made such a positive difference in alleviating your symptoms, and we’re glad to hear that your tummy is no longer swollen and that you're experiencing much less pain and discomfort.

It’s great that you’ve found a pain management routine that works for you with paracetamol and ibuprofen, and we hope this continues to support your recovery.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we will be sure to pass on your kind words to Dr Graham and the team.

It’s wonderful to hear that you’re feeling so much better, and we wish you continued health and well being going forward.

Thank you again for sharing your story with us!

Kind regards

Kevin
