"Forever grateful to you all for literally saving her life"

About: Knockbracken Hospital / Clare Ward

(as a relative),

My sister was transferred from the AMHIC to Clare Ward at Knockbracken Health Trust in the spring of 2024. There, she was under the excellent care of Dr Pinto and his team until her recent transfer in February 2025, to supported living.

My family and I have nothing but the highest praise for all the professional care that our sister received on Clare Ward. Dr Pinto and his team of  psychiatrists, all the brilliant nursing staff, the OTs, the social worker, the ancillary staff; all  went the extra mile to help to turn our sister's, barely coping, existence around. To see her now, and how much better she looks physically, all due to the intensive support and hard work work from the clinical, multi- disciplinary and interprofessional teams at Clare Ward has been truly remarkable. What Dr Pinto has  achieved in moving our sister forwarded has astounded her family.

On behalf of my sister and my family we will be forever grateful to you all for literally saving her life.
