"Very caring and thorough GP"

About: Poole Road Medical Centre

It was at very short notice as there was a concern I may have had a DVT. My appointment was 4.15pm, there was so much to go through, the last thing this GP needed so late in the day. She explained everything clearly, then I needed blood tests straight away, the nurse was also very good, managed to squeeze me in. Back up to GP and again, she stressed a few things to do or not to do.

I received a phone call next morning early, I needed to collect some paperwork then go off to Bournemouth Hospital for a DVT Scan. Eventually I was given the all clear, it was a tear in my calf muscle that was causing the problem. A very big thank you to Deanna.

Dear Sally Bird,

Thank you for your feedback about the service you received whenat very short notice there was a concern that you may hae a DVT, your appointment was for 4:15, there was a lot to go through and the GP explained everything clearly. Bloods were taken by the nurse who squeezed you in and you then went back in to the GP who stressed a few things to do or not do. Next morning you received a phone call to collect some paperwork and then off to Bournemouth Hospital for a DVT scan. Thankfully you were given the all clear. Your thanks to Deanna is very much appreciated and your review will be shared with the doctors and staff at Shore Medical, Poole Road Medical Centre.
