"Excellent health visitor"

I would like to recognise the excellent care and support we received from our health visitor Catherine. This was our first baby and although everything went well with the birth, I was experiencing a range of issues breastfeeding post C-section. Catherine was brilliant with offering an incredible range of tips and advice, and as a result I was able to breastfeed until my daughter was 13 months. This is something which was very important to me and I feel, from my experience, that the health visitor has such a vital role in supporting breastfeeding mothers. 

I would also say that we always felt that Catherine was available at the end of the phone if we needed her and knowing that support was there was very reassuring.
