"An asset to the NHS."

About: Bromley Healthcare / Tissue viability nursing

(as the patient),

Having had problems with Leg Ulcers I was invited to visit The Tissue Viability Service at the Willows Clinic.  I was interviewed by Helen who discussed my problem.  She inspected my legs where the problem was clear to see, this was in January 2025 and then in February 2025 she started Constriction support stockings.

My legs were virtually back to normal on my last visit and they were slim and the blisters had dried up. I found Helen to be very caring and knowledgeable in her work and I have a lot of faith in her treatment and was confident that the treatment was clearly working.  I have a further contact with Helen at the end of February to discuss any further treatment needed, she is very professional  and an asset to the NHS.

Dear Percy096543,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback of your positive experience of the Tissue Viability (Leg Ulcer) Service.

I am glad to hear your legs are almost back to normal.

I have shared your lovely feedback with Helen, who I am sure will appreciate your kind words.

With best wishes, Sharon
