"Trauma Assessment Unit"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 21-23)

(as a relative),

My sister in law recently fractured her humerus, and 6 days later her arm was very painful and hand was very swollen. We called the trauma assessment unit and were encouraged to come up to be seen.

I can't sing the praises of the trauma assessment unit enough, in particular Pamela the nurse on the ward who was so welcoming and Annie the trauma Liaison nurse who was so knowledgeable and caring. The trauma assessment unit is such a credit to the RAH. Thank you so much and well done for providing such amazing care!

Dear Angela097534,

Thank your for taking the time to feedback you and your sister-in-laws experience. I am delighted to hear it was a positive experience and the team delivered such a high standard of care. I will ensure this is fed back to the team

I hope your sister-in-law is recovering well, please don't hesitate to contact TAU if there are any concerns.
