"An exceptional experience at children’s A&E"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My child fell down some stairs and required medical attention for a minor head injury.

I took her to the children’s a&e department at QEUH Glasgow and couldn’t believe how quickly we were seen. Immediately we were seen by the friendliest nurse (Vicky I believe) who was so kind and caring, she had excellent bedside manner. And then moved to another section and cared for by nurse practitioner Karen who could not have been nicer or more caring.

These two people are a credit to the department. The members of reception staff who checked us in were also very kind and helpful.

I am very grateful for the care my child received today from all involved, and so impressed by how quickly we were bandaged up and able to go home.
