"8 year old daughters eye operation"

About: Outpatients Services / Children’s Eye Multi-Disciplinary Clinic

(as a parent/guardian),

Our 8 year old daughter was quite apprehensive about her eye operation, but we arrived early and she was taken to her bed and room and was so well looked after. She was out at ease, everything was described to her about what was going to happen and she was put very at ease after everything was discussed with her and in front of her.

Dear GeorgieSpark1,

My name is Ms Shirley and I am the clinical lead for pediatric ophthalmology.

I am so glad that your daughter had a good experience during her surgery with us.

We know how worrying it can be for our young patients particularly if they don't know what to expect and I am glad the team took the time to walk her through this.

I will certainly pass on your lovely feedback to the team.

I do hope your daughter is recovering well from the surgery.
