"Giving us the information we needed"

About: Southmead Hospital / accident & emergency

(as a relative),

Took my partner into A&E Southmead for what turned out to be CHS. He'd had an awful night, but when the doctor did her rounds in the morning, we were greeted by the kindest and most down-to-earth doctor we could have asked for. She seemed to know so much about this rare and hardly-known condition, and was gentle in asking us questions, being patient with our answers, considering my partner's need for privacy around myself and his mum, and giving us the information we needed. Thank you Dr Alba.

Dear Ruby,

Thank you very much for your feedback and the kind words.

I will ensure that this message is extended to the A&E department for you.

I do hope your partner is recovering.

Kind Regards,
