"We just wanted to say thank you all"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My 12 year old was admitted to ward 1b for theatre under orthopedic to repair a laceration to her pinky finger. Every single member of staff we encountered were lovely and a credit to the NHS. She was admitted in the early morning, seen by Mr Thomas and his team before 9am and was taken to theatre shortly after.

Everyone was very reassuring to my daughter and myself and her finger was repaired very quickly, so we just wanted to say thank you all.

Dear magpieth73

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided by the staff in the Paediatric Unit within University Hospital Crosshouse.

I am sorry to hear that your daughter required an admission to hospital for an operation to her finger, but glad to know that you found all of our staff to be professional, considerate and caring whilst she was under their care.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Department and in particular with Mr Thomas and his Team.

I do hope your daughter is recovering well and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
