"Excellent treatment from start to the end of my stay"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

I was admitted for a complete hip replacement operation. Excellent treatment from start to the end of my stay. I was admitted at 11 a.m., operation took place at 2 p.m. and I was back in the ward by 4 p.m. ! Staff were amazing, each and everyone of them gave me personal attention and reassurance. James in the pre operation room supported me very well during the Spinal block procedure, giving me a lot if reassurance. Mr. Dunstable, Orthopaedic Surgeon carried out the operation and told me later all went well. 

The nurses providing my care post operation were super! Attentive at all times, Rosie the night nurse worked hard all night looking after 4 of us in  Ward 4 and keeping us cheery with her amusing stories and banter! Amy, Claudia and Lauren and Judith were lovely too. Thanks to Physio and O.T. for advice and support too.
