Following on from my last story about my Operation, which went really well,. I decided to take part in the RACC C trial which to me after reading about it and talking over with family I realise it was a great decision.
I had a bit of blood taken about 400mm which was sent of to a lab and 11days later was given the results by my Oncology Dr (Dr Clive) it was the happiest day of my life since my Gt grandchildren were born. Bloods came back clear and so no chemo needed, So glad to have decided to take the trial which not only negates the need for chemo and if overall success it should save healthcare around the world a lot of money that can be spent elsewhere.
Can I just say all the staff I met and was treated by were exemplary can't fault any of my treatment which from start till now was around 10 weeks. Brilliant. I know our health service is under severe pressure but I believe those in a position to sort it (all parliamentarians ) should get on and do something about it. Hope this is acceptabl.
