"My rhinoplasty surgery experience"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

After enduring years of discomfort and difficulty breathing due to ongoing nasal issues, I was finally scheduled for surgery after being on the wait list for nearly four years.

As this was my first personal experience in a hospital, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of anxiety and nervousness—especially given my general dislike of hospitals. However, from the very moment I was entrusted into the care of the nursing staff, particularly Amanda and Stacey, my worries began to dissipate.

Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine compassion made all the difference in transforming what could have been a daunting and unpleasant ordeal into a remarkably comforting experience. They consistently kept me informed, provided reassurance, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort every step of the way.

Thanks to their exceptional care, what could have been an intimidating and stressful situation became far more manageable. Their dedication truly turned my experience into one of the best possible outcomes under the circumstances.

It can be a worrying time attending hospital for a procedure and I am so pleased that Amanda and Stacey were able to reassure you and make you feel at ease while in their care. It makes such a difference to your experience if you are kept informed and I am glad that this was the case for you as well.
