I had the worse pain so drove myself to ED. From there I got very ill. Emergency operation, perofrated gallbladder, the ICU. Service and care there superb and later in ward.
I survived due to the skill of the surgeon in an emergency. 3 months on I am well recovered due to all hospital staff at all levels. Thank you Abi for saving a husband, a father, grandfather et al. I have gone back to say thank you. I was a stranger and they treated me with kidneys and professional skill. I will always stand up or you at all times.
Below hospital level healthcare is patchy to poor. Those doctors and medical persons need the tools and the money to provide the service they want to. Do that and save the many many thousands of pounds needed to save my life.
