About: Maternity care / Maternity Day Care

(as a service user),

Appointment was at 8am. 

First blood test didn’t take place until 55 minutes later. Had to wait two hours to have blood test repeated, which meant I would be there for a minimum of 3 hours, having fasted since 10pm the night before.

Stuck in very small, extremely hot room with 7 other women. Starving, heavily pregnant, extremely uncomfortable.
