About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Dermatology (Skin Conditions)

(as a service user),

I attended GP at the end of December concerning a lesion on my leg. I was referred to dermatology in GG&C. I had a phone call in early January offering me an appointment a few days later.

At this appointment I was reviewed by Dr Becher, who was friendly and efficient and I had the lesion removed on the same day. This turned out to be a low grade skin cancer. I was relieved that this was dealt with so quickly.

The service is amazing from an NHS so under pressure. I can highly recommend the quick, efficient and caring service I received from the dermatology department.
