"Rathlin unit helped us book a pre-op"

About: Diabetic Eye Screening / Rathlin Treatment Centre

(as a relative),

I just want to take the time to say thank you to the staff at the rathlin unit. I’m sorry I don’t have names - I spoke to your staff member on appointments recently re my husband. He is awaiting cataract surgery she rang me back after realising he was only 41 she helped me so much booked us a pre op today and took the time to talk to me with so much empathy.

The nurse who looked after us today is an asset to you. One of the friendliest most lovely people I have met (as was her co worker who came in the check results too) honestly again so empathetic didn’t rush us listened to our questions.

Also please pass on our thanks to mr blanco who in himself is one of the best. He has looked after my husband so well and he has no idea the gratitude I feel towards him the nhs and his staff

Just wanted to say thanks. Hopefully not long to my husband's appointment

Dear Lyndsay mcf

I would like to thank you for taking the time to compliment the Staff working in Ophthalmology Pre-Assessment in the Rathlin Clinic. They are a very professional and caring team who will be delighted by your positive feedback.

Thank you for your kind words regarding Professor Blanco also. He will be happy to know that you value his care so highly.

I hope your husband's forthcoming cataract surgery goes well

Kind regards

Wendy Dobbin
