"I am very happy with my treatment"

The system here in Radiotherapy works well and runs smoothly. There are very rarely any holdups with appointments. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

I did ask at the beginning, because of the nature of my work, if I could have appointments at the beginning of the day or at the end of the day, but unfortunately this was not possible. However, this is an observation not a complaint!

Car parking is always a nightmare here at Ninewells. After my first or second visit I made a sign which I could put on the dashboard saying that I had waited 25-30 mins for a space and eventually had to park perhaps outwith a bay so that I didn’t miss my appointment. I figured that my radiotherapy appointment was more important .......

I am very happy with my treatment here and cannot think of any improvements.

Dear ParkCity1, thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Radiotherapy Department. My name is Bob, one of the Support Workers who would have welcomed you to our department.

Generally we would try to accommodate appointment requests where possible in order to make things as comfortable as possible for our patients. Sometimes we just don’t have the availability and I am sorry that this was the case for you. I am glad, though that your appointments have run smoothly and to time.

Car parking is indeed an ongoing issue that our Head of Therapeutic Radiography continues to take to organisational meetings. Thankfully you have not fallen foul of the parking attendants.

It is pleasing to hear that you find our staff friendly and helpful. I will pass on your kind words, thank you.
