"Amazing service"

About: Mastercall OOH North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust / NHS 111 (North West)

(as a service user),

I called 111 at 9.30am, I was impressed that I got through within 5 minutes. 

A very helpful and understanding lady listened and went through everything. She suggested I speak to  a GP based on my symptoms. She advised the GP would call with 2 hours; in fact she called just an hour later!

She said I needed to be seen by a doctor and someone would call with instructions. 

I got a call 5 minutes later with an appointment locally! 

Off we went to Mastercall - I had brought a book and snacks prepared for a wait but I was seen immediately by triage, and then a few minutes later by a doctor. He quickly diagnosed, wrote a prescription, reception told us where to pick it up, all done!

Amazing service. Thank you.
