"Waiting for an operation"

About: Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with having an issue with one of my parathyroid glands, after experiencing some symptoms (joint pain, tiredness, kidney stones etc) and have had scans to confirm this. I was at the point of getting an operation in January, but it has been cancelled and I have heard no more about this. Only a text message asking me if I still want this operation, to which I replied yes, as this is starting to impact my working life.
