"A most efficient but personable experience"

About: Outpatients Services / Eye Outpatients diagnostic unit [EODU]

(as a service user),

Well signed from car park & within building. The health professional was courteous, explained the procedure, and politely confirmed relevant details.

They explained about the administration of dilating eye drops and confirmed beforehand that I would not be driving afterwards. Once administered I was invited to sit in the waiting area until they took effect. There was an invitation to complete a survey but no WiFi service to do so. They patiently explained each step of the procedure a before they undertook it and put you at ease. Once completed, they explained that the consultant would send a report to my GP in approx 2-3 weeks. They checked if I had any questions before I left. A most efficient but personable experience!
