I had a colposcopy appointment at The Pilgrim Hospital Boston Lincs and was very anxious . The Dr and colposcopy nurse immediately put me at my ease and took the time to explain everything to me. They were brilliant and really helped to alleviate the nerves that I'd built up by worrying about what was happening.
The actual colposcopy was fine and not painful in any way. The Dr made sure I knew what he was going to do and the nurses kept me chatting throughout. Going to the hospital is never a pleasant thing, but the care I received was honestly outstanding and I would like to thank them both for their care and professionalism.
I promised I would give them a 5 * rating and would recommend to friends and family. I was scared and worried about this appointment but I want to reassure anyone else that there is truthfully nothing to worry about and I actually left the hospital with a smile on my face and a weight lifted off my mind.
"I left with a smile on my face"
