"Rushed to my feet after an MRI"

About: Musgrave Park Hospital (Belfast)

(as the patient),

I was scheduled for an emergency MRI scan at the Musgrave Hospital at the end of January. Upon arriving early and completing all documents all went well, I was then asked for my DOB 4 times by 4 Dr's/Nurses etc people whereas 5 individuals ahead of me were just asked their names, I could hear this from both waiting rooms and the Dr's/Nurses seemed to have a more genuine & conversational tone when speaking with the 5 people ahead of me, whereas there was a look of and feeling of contempt when speaking with me.

After getting changed for my 1:30pm emergency appointment I was actually seen to at 2:15pm, not complaining it is what it is. After being placed onto the MRI scanner, I was given a horrible pillow to place under my legs, I have a herniated disc, after 10 minutes I lost sensation in my left leg and left hip, pain creeped up on me later that evening, I endured as I needed the scan.

No radio or music was offered to me so had to endure 30 minutes of the horrible noises the machine emits, which after a while can leave you feeling very hazed. After finishing I was rushed to my feet with Dr's/Nurses attempting to remove sheets under me whilst I was attempting to get up, again herniated disc and needed a good minute to get to my feet. I am speechless. I felt like this this experience was possible discrimination because of my race or age.
