(as a service user),

I would like to reach out to say a heartfelt thank you to the District Nurses in Strathaven.  They kindly agreed to give my mum her insulin to enable me to have some carers time. 

They treated my mum with dementia with dignity and respect and when I called her every evening she could remember that the nice nurse was in to check on her.  I cant thank them enough as it meant that I knew that my mum was in safe hands while I took a much needed break.

It is so lovely to hear that your Mum was treated with dignity and respect by our team and that you felt supported. This is a wonderful example of the person-centred care we strive to provide.

I have shared your kind words with the team who cared for your Mum. They were truly delighted to read your positive and personal feedback. I can honestly say your feedback has boosted morale on this cold Thursday!
