"We had a great experience"

About: CAMHS (Outpatient Services) / Intellectual Disabilities Team

(as a service user),

We had a great experience with Sam and her team. We felt seen and heard and she has helped support us and the school. Thanks so much!

The only improvement I think was the waiting time for the initial appointment.

Thankyou for taking the time to feedback about you care from our Intellectual Disability team and in particular Sam whom I have feedback your kind comments and she has expressed her gratitude.

We appreciate waiting times can be lengthy but as this is a small team who aim to work not only with parents and carers but the wider system to support a wider understanding this can cause delays in care.

The team aim to provide patient centred individualised care and we appreciate your feedback around the care you experienced.

The delay was actually because of mistakes that were made, I do appreciate there is waiting lists and everyone has to wait. Hopefully there will be a increase in this service to help with waiting times - but the team did a excellent job with our family.
