"Hospital food"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Acute Medical Unit

(as the patient),

I find it absolutely despicable and I am rather outraged at this obnoxious decision. There is no need to not put the chicken goujons from the children’s wards on the adult wards menu. In my view, it is simply ageist and going against my human rights in ensuring that every individual is treated the same no matter their protected characteristics. Thank you everyone, and adults thank me later, these chicken goujons are better than KFC:)

Dear Caitlin7382826

Please accept my sincere apologies for not responding sooner to your story.

Your feedback regarding the hospitals adult menus is invaluable in order for the Trust to review and improve the services we provide and I am sorry you were upset and dissatisfied that the chicken goujons from the children’s wards were not available to you on the adult wards menus.

Meal times I know are very important to our patients so I will share your comments with our catering team so that they are aware of your disappointment. The team take all feedback onboard and aim to provide the highest standards of meals at all times.

Again I am so sorry for your disappointment but would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Kind regards

Sarah
