"Help to access equipment"

About: Community Occupational Therapy / Glenrothes & Cowdenbeath

(as a service user),

I needed some helping getting around at home and was told that the Fife social care service would assist me.  They sent a lovely occupational therapist who after assessment got me delivered a walker, bed frame equipment and some other bits and bobs.  I wasn't originally keen to contact them but Sarah was so patient and listened to me.

Dear telescopiumyp45,

thank you so much for taking the time to send such positive feedback about the service you received from the community occupational therapy team! This is especially appreciated given your initial hesitation to seek help. Sera Mackie, occupational therapy assistant, is a highly valued member of my team and I am so pleased to read that you have benefitted from Sera's help and her patient and caring approach. I have passed on your comments to Sera. I am also glad that the various items of equipment are enabling you to live well at home which is a core aim of our service.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you need further assistance in the future. You can contact Fife Health and Social Care Partnership via the Contact Centre on 03451 551503 or sw.contactctr@fife.gov.uk

Very best wishes for the future,

Ailsa
