"They made the whole situation a lot easier"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Primary Care Out of Hours

(as a parent/guardian),

My son needed to attend douglas street this morning as he was unwell. He is deaf ,autistic,  adhd and has a ID diagnosis so Dr's appointments can be a stressful situation .

The nurse who seen him first was an absolute angel and took her time with him , was understanding and made the whole situation alot easier . He was very pleased with his sticker.

The GP who seen him also was amazing and explained everything to me .

Thank you all ! You made a situation that could have been very stressful a good experience for my son and myself .

Good morning LeMx,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post about the positive experience you had when you had to attend an appointment at the Primary Care Out of Hours service, Douglas Street, Hamilton with your son.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the team, they will be delighted to hear that the care they gave to your son was gratefully received.

I hope your son is now recovering well.

Take care, Pamela.
