"So friendly!"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

Unfortunately I had to visit Children’s A&E at 6am on a Saturday morning!

The initial Triage was slightly frustrating (waiting when there was no one at the desk) but as soon as I was called forward, things couldn’t have been better!

The Triage lady was friendly & even interacted with my child - the wait for the Nurse was very short… then straight into Paeds A&E where the nicest nurse looked after us!

All in all, the staff made what was a very upsetting and stressful situation bearable and relatively ‘pleasant’

Thank you and well done

Dear Parent

Thank you for taking the time share your feedback about the Children's A&E at Whipps Cross Hospital. We fully appreciate how upsetting and stressful it can be when you have to bring your child to A&E and whilst we note that you experienced some initial frustrations, we are pleased that you and your child's experience improved once you were checked in. We are very happy that the nurse in PAEDS A&E looked after you all well and made your time with us, ‘pleasant’. We will ensure that your kind words are shared with the service.

Best wishes
