"A distressing and uncomfortable experience"

I had one of my first pelvic scans and screenings at this practice, and it was an extremely uncomfortable and distressing experience. The nurse made little effort to explain the procedure, which was especially upsetting given that this was one of my first times undergoing such an intimate scan. I felt unseen and unheard, and, most importantly, I was not given the basic courtesy of understanding what was being done to my body. This lack of communication left me feeling vulnerable and violated. I'm sharing this review because I want to ensure other young girls are protected from going through the traumatic experience I did.
